Hello everyone,
I'm new to this phone bought it like 3-4 weeks ago and slowly begining to regret it cause all I've encountered so far is problems with it (but that could be due to buying it second hand).

Anyway I've immediately seen that it drains battery faster than it was supposed to (personal opinion consider I've owned sony z3 prior to this one).So after googling around android forums and doing some research I had installed wakelock deterctor and to my surprise have found out that is ddoesn't go to sleep deep not even one bit.I will post some pictures here cause they will explain it in true color.

Let me know if you have any soultion to this problem. Two pictures are related to wakelock detector state after deleting some major apps that caused wakelocks and third one is as you can see with apps reguralrly there. After deleting apps deep sleep has not changed...

Have you got the Oculus VR app installed? It's been causing recent wake problems for Samsung phones. I would also tend to guess it might be Facebook... seems they just can't stop messing up people's battery life with their updates.

No, I don't have that app but I have app called gear vr and it can't be disabled in application manager...

One thing I forgot to mention is that my proximity sensor is not working for some strange reason. The day before yesterday I replaced it WITH BRAND NEW PROXIMITY SENSOR that I bought and it still doesn't work.I'm wondering maybe there could lie the problem.Sensor not enabling in some way for phone to go to deep sleep.

Take a look at this picture. It doesn't show any of these values and alttitude is stuck at 40000m.These same values showed with old sensor and new one that I replaced.Could it be something with motherboard or bad kernel???

Could be the sensors, motherboard, OS... I really have no idea. Seems a lot of the sensors aren't working correctly. Have you tried booting to Safe mode? I'm guessing you already tried a factory reset?

If safe mode, a factory reset, or an OS reflash doesn't work, you might consider giving up on the phone. If you start chasing repairs, it might cost more than a replacement phone, not to mention possible damage inflicted in a repair attempt.

I'm gonna try to reflash OS and some other tweaking and will let you see if I discover anything usefullb

The thing is I bought this phone very recently from guy selling it on internet.Met him in a city and I was so busy checking for all signs that it was in fact genuine
one and not fake one (price was lower) that I forgot to check sensors.I guess this is lesson from now on for me not to buy stuff so easily via internet...

Yah, it's tough nowadays to know who to trust. I'm looking for a spare phone myself, and the holdup is buying it used. I may have to bite the bullet and buy from BHPhoto or some other retailer. Higher price but at least it's brand new with warranty.

Good luck with the reflash... I hope it fixes it.
