Problems with ES File Explorer in v72

[Android Central Question]

I'm having problems getting to the external SD card in my Acer Spin 11. I'm trying to set /storage as the Home Directory in Settings, but it only gives me the option of / -which shows an empty folder or 0 -which goes directly /storage/emulated/0. There is no option to choose /storage. Also I can't navigate to the SD card through ES Zip Viewer to extract files to the SD card.
Is this a problem common to all Chromebooks or just mine? I sent an email detailing the problem to the developer but haven't heard back yet.
