I performed the July software yesterday on unlocked S10 on Tmobile network. Now the phone has an endless error and looping attempt to complete firmware update. This is the error:

OMADM-The profile update could not be completed
Error-The profile update could not be completed. Please try again later. If the problem persists, you may need to contact Customer Service. Error: Internal Error (407).

Checking out the issue online, the only (temporary) solution is to force stop the app, and clear data. But it only lasts a few minutes.
According to piunikaweb a fix is on the way, but no ETA on that.

Be warned ! It is annoying enough that I might be going back to my S7E until they fix this mess.

So is this another issue with the July update? I thought there was one with the initial July update so they had a second July update. (I not received either yet on my T-Mobile version.)

I had already done an update in July when I first heard of the issues with one of them. I don't know which one I got but maybe it affected some carriers more than others, I got the second one or I got lucky? I can't say.

werkx, maybe you got lucky too not have gotten it yet being on the same carrier as MotorMike2020. Especially since the workaround article specifically mentions T-Mo and Sprint. I wouldn't go checking for the update if it were me. I'd just wait until it pushed and hope the one that pushed is the repaired one. Those update reminders can be annoying AH.

Ya, maybe because my version is not the unlocked one on tmobile. I didn't get the June update until just last week, so maybe by the time it gets to me a fix is included.

Interesting, I heard this happening to s9 and note 9 owners going to UI 2.1 but didn't hear until now s10

S10e factory unlock with Tmobile..
I got first july Update .. so far so good..
Thanks for heads up..
I will definitely hold up the 2 update ..

Thank you for letting us know! I've yet to receive either update thus far but it's good to have this as a heads-up! Hope this gets fixed for you soon!

My phones been freezing up lately after and it's like my screen is stuck and I can't do anything nothing will move. I have to hit the power button and then turn it back on and this started after I updated but could be due to an app update I don't know. It does it every so often.

I just read an article from 2 days ago that said T-Mo customers should have already started getting the update. They say the only change note is security update so not a terrible amount to get overly excited about. Not sure what that means for other carriers. The new update ends in DTF6. The version I got earlier in the month ends in DTF3.

Here's the article if anyone is interested... https://www.tmonews.com/2020/07/t-mobile-samsung-galaxy-s10-lg-g8-thinq-updates/

Same here. T-Mo branded S10+ that I bought directly from Samsung. Going on 12+ hours on the update, no issues.

Any progress on your situation?

I just rec'd a system update through TMobile and it has fixed the error 407 can't update the firmware. I am thrilled to have my Note 9 back and not trying to update the firmware every hour. 7/27/2020 9:00 AM

No I don't know if an app is causing it but last night after work and all morning it hasn't done it but Friday it did it 2 or 3 times. It's weird!

That's great that it hasn't happened for a while! Keep us updated! :)

Do you have T-Mobile also?

I have Verizon and didn't experience that after the update.

Well, there's a good news we tmobile people can get behind.

So for the past 2 days it seems that the error 407 has stopped looking to complete the update. I did nothing to the phone, and its been quiet. For now! Checked for any pending updates but nothing yet.
