Problems with S Note working on Galaxy Note 4

[AC Question]

After recent Note 4 software update on Verizon December 2016, S Note will no longer open and work. I get messages asking to cut of screen overlap and no changes to settings work. Not able to give permissions or make changes that will allow the app to open or access files for S note at all.
