Problems with Yahoo Mail App on Android 2.2

Has anyone been experiencing any problems with the Yahoo Mail App since upgrading to Android 2.2?

A number of my emails come through with the html version at the top of the email and the actual email appearing below after scrolling down.

I haven't had that but the app is very frustrating and I just deleted for the third time and went back to stock. The only way I would receive notifications is if I opened the app every morning and even then it was somewhat sporadic. I'm also beginning to think it had an adverse affect on battery life as I deleted it this morning and I'm not draining as quickly as usual, but I need a little more time to confirm that.
I'd love to use it as it is identical to my verizon yahoo email on the web with all the same folders. I'll wait till the next upgrade I guess.

I haven't experienced any differences in this app post-update. (All my problems with the app are the same ones I've complained about before, lol.)

My wife is having this problem (I just use gmail). There is some javascript at the top of many, but not all emails. There must be some parsing error.

Yes, that is it. Did she submit the problem through the Options, About Mail, Report a Problem link?

No. I searched for a fix, then forgot about it (out-of-sight, out-of-mind). Maybe tonight.

The app was good at first but it seems to not be optimized the best so I got rid of it and I'm sticking with GMail (but it probably has more to do with too much spam going to my yahoo email lately :/)

I'll see if it improves battery life now...

To the OP - I am getting that too and it is annnnnoying. I will report it through the app too. Glad to hear it wasn't just me.

Three copies of each mail sent

I've noticed another problem with the Yahoo mail app on Android, this on a Droid 2 with Android 2.2 on it... It generally sends messages in triplicate. They don't all arrive at the same time, but there are usually three copies. Any ideas? Thanks.

And they don't have any contact integration/syncing either. What a hassle.

I've seen this issue with a couple of my emails. Mostly I've found Yahoo Mail to be just too painfully slow to use on both the computer and the Android. I don't know what it is about Yahoo but they seem to break everything they touch.

My YM account has been reduced to being a spam trap now.
