project fi better than Verizon anywhere?

Has anyone, anywhere, found project fi to be better than Verizon in cellular reception? Not interested in discussions about cost, or data speed. For some reason, Verizon is giving me a heck of a time here in Phoenix. And I'm wondering if anyone with project fi, anywhere, has had better cell coverage and reception than with Verizon?

It could be possible since it uses 3 carriers. Verizon is good -- but definitely not perfect.
