Protecting the back camera lens?

Back on topic, I've never heard of anyone damaging their camera lenses. Does anyone have first hand knowledge of such a thing?

There was another post on here (forget which thread) where an owner accidentally scratched the lens right down the middle. So there are some examples.

I did, thank you. Two $1 lens covers purchased. The be careful part...i dont think anyone intentionally sets out to damage a new phone they paid $600 for, hence the term "accident" lol. Im sadly not perfect enough to prevent all possible situations where a phone could accidentally get damaged

Sounds good. I'm glad you were able to find a solution that fit your need. I'm also glad that you posted back what you did as a solution because that helps the next person looking with the same question who finds this thread.

Question, so the 1 dollar skin you got completely covers the lens and you see no noticeable drop in quality of photos? Are you happy with your purchase so far?

Also, I went to the site and tried to navigate for only the lens cover but found it way too confusing. Am I missing something??
