I know this is very OCD (that's my middle name) but my first 9+ I noticed at a certain angle at under certain lighting there are a series of narrow diagonal scuff lines along the glass edge above the earpiece right where the glass meets the metal frame. Looks like damage a pry tool or something might have caused.
As luck would have it, that unit also had dust under the screen. Returned it, got the new one this week. No dust under the screen but same pry tool scuffs are on this one too, although this time not above the earpiece but off to the left above the ambient light sensor area.
Love the phone anyway but maybe they need to alter their assembly procedures to avoid scuffing up the glass near the top bezel.
