push and/or schedule don't always work

Sorry if this has been answered, but I have been looking and did not find an answer.
I have four email accounts on my Maxx. One is a corporate sync and the other three are just IMAP accounts. I find that the IMAP accounts don't always sync and I have to go in and manually refresh the sync to get new email. I have tried them on push and on a 15 minute schedule, but I'm still having trouble with them. The corporate sync is fine.

Any ideas of what else I should look for?


The other real odd thing is that the Maxx tends to combine contacts. I wish there were a way to prevent that. i know how go in after the fact and seperate them but I'd like to avoid it all together.
