i am new here and it was necessary to join now after i got my used htc one two days back. i have successfully rooted the phone which was originally on Android 4.1.2 and i updated it to 4.2.2. I had a problem since i bought the phone, the brightness level of the phone does not seem to change at all and is set at higher than i would have wanted. drains my battery in a second. in setting when i move the brightness slider or set it to auto the phones just like it never heard me lol i expected this to fix up once i updated but this did not happen either. Highly disappointed PLEASE HELP ME!!!!! i have a few problems with my eyes and the high brightness set on my phone is not very helpful. otherwise htc one is number one for sure
