Does anyone know if the Google play store version of the application charge a one-time fee at the play store, or is it the play store fee on top of a subscription fee? Thanks for your response.

Not sure. For one I don't for or need antivirus protection. And with all added bloat built it eats up battery. All I use is lookout.
