This deal is freaking awesome. Couple of questions though, is the unlocked T-Mobile version compatible with any GSM?? For example I live in Mexico and if I bought it customized T-Mobile unlocked version would it work with my carrier? Or does the Dev edition only work?? Thanks!!

Welcome to the AC Forums....So the T-Mo version list these bands.. What carrier are you on? and we can compare bands.
Network
2G/3G/4G/LTE Capable
GSM (850, 900, 1800, 1900), UMTS (Bands I,II, IV, V, VIII)
4G LTE (Bands 2, 4, 17)

and the Developer version...
Networks
GSM/GPRS/EDGE - UMTS/HSPA + up to 42 Mbps - 4G LTE
2G/2.5G GSM/GPRS/EDGE bands
850/900/1800/1900 MHz
3G UMTS bands
850/900/ AWS/1900/2100 MHz with HSPA+ up to 42 Mbps (B5/B8/B4/B2/B1)
4G LTE bands
700/AWS/1900MHz (B17/B4/B2)

So the 2 versions look the same. The CDMA version for Verizon has the extra cdma bands. (Avoid ;) )

Network technology:
GSM:850, 900, 1800, 1900
UMTS:900, 2100
Data:EDGE
UMTS:Yes
HSPA:Yes (HSDPA 7.2 Mbit/s) HSUPA 5.76 Mbit/s

Y esto de la pagina de SE

Networks
- GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900
- UMTS/HSPA 800/850/1900/2100
- UMTS/HSPA 900/2100

Does that help??

S?, parece que usted est? cubierto. Podr? ser bueno !
Si LTE disponible esas bandas est?n ah? para usted.

Bump, is there another take on this? I don't want to buy this phone and not be able to use it :(

I think people may be hesitant to say "yes" because some of the numbers match up but not everything matches up. I would check with your carrier and even T-Mobile regarding device compatibility.

If tried searching regarding the compatibility of the Tmo version on the Telcel network and while I think it will work I cannot find enough information to say with 100% certainty it will work.

i would go for the developer edition. you cannot customize but u should at least get 3g / HSPA in your area.... worse comes to worse, if you find the data connection not to your liking i would put the phone up on swappa or ebay.. you will break even or make a small profit..

Man I can't make a desicion. I really want a customized Moto X but I don't want to find out it doesn't work after I bought it, sigh :(
