Hello all. I bought the Tab 10.1 on its launch day at Bestbuy and bought teh Desktop Dock same time for easy charging and having the device stand up and use. When the device is docked it seems like I have to press the home button or back button 15 times just to make it go to the homescreen. Sometimes it will never even get to the homescreen. It toggles between the clock and the last app I was running. Anyone know how I can fix this so when I hit the home button, it wil go to my homescreen when docked? Anyone else have this type of problem with the desktop dock? Thank you

I'm having the same issues. As well as the dock mode freezing up and the tab becomes unresponsive. I'm about to return it because I'm afraid to even set my tab on it overnight for fear that it won't charge.

eugh. sounds annoying. sorry to hear this, but thanks for posting! i'm waiting to hear about things like this and to see if they get fixed before jumping on board. good luck!

Mine acts the same way when on the dock. It's like the clock takes over and it refuses to go to the home screen anymore. The back button and the recent apps button seem to work okay.

I'm sending my Tab back as it became unresponsive, ironically after placing it on the dock. I wonder if this thing bricked my tablet.

I had the same problem with the desktop dock and found a solution

Install 'Dock No-Op' from the app store. It lets you replace the clock launch with a nothing launch. After it is installed, Android will ask you whether to launch the clock or Dock No-Op. Just select the check bax for default action and then select Dock No-Op.

From then on, when you dock, the screen will flash for a second and then you will be back in the app you were using.
