Just curious, what phones do you use now ?
Upgraded anout a year and a half ago to a lg g8. I sometimes miss the fluidity of moto software and and little tricks that came along with it. I loved using one button nav. A10 has made it a bit easier. Also lg revamped its software for A10 and its more manageable but still a bit curmudgeonly. Obviously it's a massive upgrade from an old budget to an at the time flagship phone and I wouldn't turn back, but there definitely are little things I miss about moto software.
OnePlus 7. Very happy with it.Just curious, what phones do you use now ?
Is that an android one phone? How do you like it?Thanks for the reply.
I upgraded to the Motorola One Vision few months back but my G5 Plus is still working fine, only the battery doesn't last a full day now with normal usage.
I too like the Moto software and their little extras which are so helpful.
OnePlus 7. Very happy with it.
I used the G7+ in between that my son is using now. Great device as well.

Yup.You are into your second phone after the G5S Plus![]()
Yup.Bought the G7+ and used it for a little while. July last year I was in Spain and couldn't resist the temptation. Well, and my son needed a new phone after destroying my old X Play, so ...

Thanks. I have a Nokia 7.1 android one phone but do miss the moto thingsYes, it's an Android One phone.
I am liking it very much.
It had some issues about typing while charging the phone, as was reported by some users after launch, but by the time I bought it those issues had improved with software updates.
Thanks. I have a Nokia 7.1 android one phone but do miss the moto things![]()

I took and added this question into the title itself.

With the OnePlus I have all the actions I need, but I miss Moto Display. I still think that's the best system to interact with notifications on a locked phone. One Moto action which the One Vision doesn't have and which I had used a lot is flip for Do Not Disturb.
It has all the other Moto actions.

There are three different paths of updates.OnePlus has excellent phones at good prices.
I totally agree with you about Moto Display .
Do OnePlus phones get regular monthly security updates ?
I had decided to go for Android One phones after the poor update experience with the Moto G series phones.
There are three different paths of updates.
Closed Beta, for the volunteers that want to test everything. Very frequent updates but unstable. Kind of the soak tests in Moto phones, but they run all the time not only for new Android versions.
Open Beta. Updates every month. Everyone can join and get new features and security updates before the rest. It's usually stable but bugs are expected.
Stable. Updates every other month.
It's very easy to sideload system updates in OnePlus, OOS is very open in that sense.
Same here, I haven't changed from the stable path in more than a year. There's no need for me.Thanks for the details.
That's very organised.
I would have opted for stable always on my primary phone.
