Question on ICS OTA update

Hi all

I'm an original Xoom user, and sent it in for the LTE update when available. We HAD the Verizon LTE service but cancelled it since we got tired of paying for a service we weren't using (between wifi and tethering, we didnt need it).

So, that said, If I wanted to manually install the ICS update, would I follow the WiFi version, or do I need to follow the LTE version? I could argue it either way, but was hoping someone could give me a known-good answer.

Wait for the LTE update. The wifi version of ICS doesn't work on the LTE Xoom.

I thought so, but wasnt sure if my lack of LTE service would make a difference
