Question on lock screen post ICS update...

Today I just noticed that when on my lock.screen, I have the ability to pull down the notification screen. Was it always that way or is it new to ICS? Kind of defeats the lock screen if you can still access from the notification drop down...

That's an ICS thing. You can also adjust your ring tone volume without unlocking which I actually find to be quite useful.

Ok, i see what's going on. I had no lock set, but once I set up a PIN lock, the notification shade cannot be pulled down.

Volume huh, hadn't noticed that. Sweeeet!
