Quick Charge 2.0

I just tried the Incipio quick charge 2.0 car charger and the small micro usb cable (charging only) that came with an anker Bluetooth speaker that I bought a month ago and I checked the current with "charging report" app and it was pulling only 1. 3 amp.

The amperage is completely irrelevant.

Hey all. I just started trolling here so I don't know much of the technical stuff. But for anyone else like me who was waiting for either their carrier or HTC to roll out one of these (and HTC sure is taking their sweet time) Verizon released theirs for $34.99.

Totally worth it to me as I've been having battery drain problems. (Verizon replacing so moot at this point.) Gets me about 30% higher battery in maybe 20 minutes. I can get from 30% to almost 100% in about an hour, maybe a little more. My understanding is the processor slows down the rate of charge as you get a higher charge restored to the battery to protect it. Think exponential decay, if you will. Anyway, I recommend. Has made my life a lot easier when I can only drop in quickly in the evening then have to run out the door to the next thing.

Yeah, so I can't post links because I haven't posted 10 times yet haha. That's absurd. But just Google "Verizon Wall Charger with Fast Charge Technology for micro USB" and should take you there if you're interested.

Interesting. I've seen that one under a different name somewhere.

I tested both Samsung adaptive fast charger and Moto turbo charger on my Nexus 6, the charging speed is amazing, both takes about 70 minutes charges from 0 to 100%. The charging voltage changes from 5v to 9v(theoretically to 12v but i didn't notice it) and then from 9v to 5v when it's close to fully charged. It is amazing technology.
