Quick charger

One more question, I think. Lol
I'm an old granny, so be patient.
If I get either of the cords you'll posted, the c
to c or a to c, (this is probably dumb) how do I know which port on the charger to use?

The a to c is the cable that came with the Note 7 so it would plug in just like that one. The C to C would have both ends like the end that goes into your phone. It would require a charger that supports USB-C.

The C to C is the C shape on both ends. It will only fit in one port.

The A to C is just like the big end of the cord on all chargers, it fits in a regular USB port. So that one would use the one the cord is plugged into in the top picture.

Yes, that looks like the one I have. I thought it said quick charge.
Guess I should look for a different one.
Thanks

It is quick charge, using a cord like the one I posted above and what should have come with your phone.. Large on one end, the small oval on the other.

Or what came with the charger, using the adaptor that came with your phone.

So c to c cord with my charger would be same on each end but would not be quick charge with the charger I have?

Sorry, it just gets confusing. Lol

So I either need a different charger or just use adapter, rather then buy a different cord and still not be quick charge.
Guess main thing is as long as I can charge if I need to.

Thanks.

Myself.. I would buy a cord like the one that came with the phone, the A to C cord, but I prefer no adapter just in case it gets pulled off the end of the cord and lost.

But you can use the adapter, the car charger is a good charger though. An iPhone can also charge or any phone that uses a USB C can also charge with that charger also.

Looks like that charger also uses a USB A cord, so a USB A to USB C will also work. One like this.
So like this one in picture you posted

Oops, was trying to post the photo of a to c cord photo you posted

I looked for it on amazon, haven't found the one like in your photo.

Here is a single one. I bought a pack of 5. If you want more than one let me know and I can find you a link

Oh no bother, that is what we are here for!

I used to have a car charger that had various connectors you could out on the end and I lost it out of town and had to get a new charger. That's why I hate them.

You can also use the cord that came with your phone when hookinf your phone up to your computer.

My adapter will go in my purse in case I'm out and suddenly need to charge and the only charger anyone has is the micro USB charger.
