Quick question about storage

So I know we get 50GB free of storage. Im wondering if I put all my music on there (12 GB) will it chomp through my data when I play it?

I was initially worried about this lack of storage, but then I discovered the ability to 'Pin' music in Google Play Music. I have all my music loaded online, so I can pick and choose which music to Pin to my phone. You can choose specific playlists, artists, etc. It's a pretty clever way to maximize storage space on your phone.
