Hey guys completely new to this and was hoping I could get some answers. I've read some articles about unlocking and rooting. Now being that I've had my nexus for a few weeks now I do have apps installed that I would like to carry over when unlocked/rooted and flashed with aokp. Here is what I have done so far. I have downloaded NRT v1.6.2 from goo. Connected my nexus, installed drivers and software downloaded some ROMS (I believe). I did 2 backups, one with system apps and data and another with system apps + data, shared data not checked. Am I right in thinking that once I root unlock and root (everything is erased) and I flash with aokp and gapps, I can use NRT to restore my apps and data? Also lets say for some reason I want to revert to factory defaults unroot and locked, I see the app has the feature to do so. That feature will install the old unrooted/loced ROM (sorry if i am getting my terminology mixed here) in which then I could just run a restore of apps from the backup i created and it would be back to "normal"? Appreciate all the help and advice, just want to make sure im taking all step where when i root/unlock or go back, restoring apps and data is easy?
Thanks
