Quick question solved

Ok so I backed up first and then flashed the camera mod v3 no problem. During the flashing process it said "please upgrade update binary" and then after the flash completed I rebooted the phone and when It finished rebooting a message popped up saying "upgrading android". I just want to ask if this is normal and I did flash properly? Did this happen to anyone else?

Re: Quick question

The jpegs will be bigger and that's about the only thing you'll notice, unless you took a photo, flashed the mod, then took the same photo

Re: Quick question

Quick question, In philz touch is it better to do "wipe data/factory reset" or "clean to install new rom"?

Re: Quick question

Depends what you're flashing

So for example if I flash gpe rom from arhd rom then would I choose "wipe data/factory reset"? If I flash a sense based rom like viper one from arhd rom then I would choose "clean to install new rom"?

Re: Quick question

Quick question, whenever I try to change battery icon in rom toolbox pro, it keeps telling me "missing icons file was not found on your system." Why is it doing this?

I have no clue i havn't used toolbox but maybe you need the icons you want to use on the phone? Like a icon pack

Re: Quick question

What are better ways to change battery icon? I tried xposed statusbar mods and it does not support htc one m8. So what better ways are there to change battery icon?

Find some on XDA and flash in recovery

Ok It took some time, but I finally found the perfect xposed modules. Xtended settings and xblast tools. I used xtended settings to hide stock battery icon and used xblast tools to add custom batery icon. There are so many cool features from these modules. I love both of the modules Xtended settings and xblast tools are worth it :)

Sense 6 toolbox, which you already had, also does both those things

Yes I already knew sense 6 toolbox can do that, but I did not like the battery icon from sense 6 toolbox. I prefer the battery icon from xblast tools.
