I received a replacement phone yesterday after piercing my screen on the old phone. Insurance is a life saver and I got it the next day with 14 hours. Deductible is pricey lol.

Here is my question. On the new phone I have my background as black. However on the lock screen its a little lighter and when its unlocked on the home screens here are lighter gray bars at the bottom and top. If I do a soft reset they go away but then in time come back.

Am I doing something wrong or is there a way to fix this issue?

Thanks all!

Do the light bars exists if you change the wallpaper, or switch it to another black (dark) image? I don't think it would show via a screen shot. But do you think you can attach a photo of the screen showing the bars so we can get a better look?

I'm thinking it might be light bleed, but that's just a wild guess.

I tried a new wallpaper and thought it was fixed then it turns out it isnt. I am going to attach a screen shot.

you can of course barely see it. basically here is what you should be seeing. along the top along the header is a thick lighter black or very dark gray bar and same along the bottom where the words are for the apps.
