What ROM did you flash this new Radio on???

Anyone know what the MD5 is , i'm getting 97c195d733f61c6a699528747aff6892 and it is not the same as what is posted.

Is this still good to flash even with a different MD5 ?

Thanks

No... if the MD5 code does not match do NOT use it.

****EDIT: Download it from a different source... there are a lot of them.

I am rooted and one the Bamf 3.0 RC4 with the leaked MR2 radio... Should I update to the official MR2 radio? Is there any differences. And also If i do flash the new radio do I really need to wipe all of my data? Thanks!

There is not official word on the correct MD5 Sum code of the file on the XDA forum.

Flashed it without any problems.

Radio baseband reads 1.39.00.0627r in the settings menu.

The md5 scan resulted in 97c195d733f61c6a699528747aff6892.

All seems well. 4G and GPS lock seems crisp!

Update: Reverted back to MR2.5 due to a weird random reboot. The phone got really warm, then the screen went dark. Tried pressing the power button thinking it shutoff. Nothing happened for roughly two minutes. Then it rebooted... Gonna wait for now.

I don't need it that bad... I can wait until more people test this... plus once I see a real answer on XDA about the MD5 Sum code... then maybe I'll install it... but if you really must, go ahead and install it.

***EDIT: I also just read some on XDA... this MD5 Sum code is exactly the same as the LEAKED version... doesn't sound like the official version to me.

Just updated over Flyweight. Tether 2.0.7 still works. Tomorrow is a thousand mile drive back home. Will know how good (not so good) this works on my trip.

Google Nav, Sky.FM, Tether working all at the great time - yay. :)

2.5 has been so good to me. Hope this is even better, ill wait a few.

Installed on BAMF Sense 3.0 RC4. Haven't noticed any immediate differences from the MR2/2.5 radio but I'll give it some time. MD5 was 97c195d733f61c6a699528747aff6892 as posted above

This download is the one....I have flashed it and it is working great.....my 4G signal is full and my GPS locks instantly.

Cannot resist the lure of a new radio. As they say, hope springs eternal.

Working fine so far, but it's really too early to tell. I downloaded from the xda link and got the following md5 checksum for the file I downloaded.

Can you find out if this will work on CM7 / AOSP ROM? I assume becuase it is GB, BUT i don't want to mess up my awesome CM7ness ;) and even if it doesn't its no biggie... my radio is working fine thus far:)

It works just fine, I just flashed the CM7 1.0 - RC1.2....will be flashing back to BAMF....just wanted to answer your question.

Ok... I read a good post from last night on the thread about the reason for difference in the MD5 Sum code... plus many CM7 users installed without issues... I loaded in a few minutes ago on my CM7 RC1.2 ROM version... and it works... I'm getting the same signal strength and my 4G data came right back up within a minute of booting up.

-flashed update with BAMF rc3, working perfectly, 4g locked soon as OS loaded, gps working perfectly as well
