Radio Shack PreOrderers

Just got a call from Radio Shack where I pre ordered and they said they just got an email saying they will get an special over-nighted delivery on Friday morning for customers that pre ordered only. Said since Sprint has not announced a launch date they are allowing those who pre ordered in store to activate on Friday.

Ill take what I can get...
I keep flashing my wallet full of cash everytime I go in... They just wont give me my damn phone. Capitalism at its best. Sigh.

Preordered mine from BB but I did stop at one of the RS stores where I'm at today because I saw a "HTC EVO 4g LTE coming soon" sign. Anyway, of course the guy didn't know when the phone was being released, but the part that made me shake my head is when he referred to Android 4.0 as "Honeycomb" instead of ICS....dude, really???


Gotta love these store workers, LOL.

atleast you got some type of answer from them, the store i pre-ordered at in manhattan those guys are clueless they think its still held up at customs. its frustrating i want my phone.....if i find it somewhere else tomorrow im buying...i'll use that 50 bucks gift card in radioshack for a case or somthing

vhira82, thank you for the update as I am also pre-ordered through RS.

A rep told me yesterday that they are expecting delivery on Friday, so I figured to just wait it out.

This confirms the reps story, so at least my excitement for tomorrow is justified

just stopped at a radio shack in Racine WI, and it was news to them that EVO LTE cleared customs. they were happy to hear that, but it made me sad I had to be the one to tell em. Anyhow, manager said they had no preorders so I guess I'm first on the list when they get them in. hoping its within a week or so

I just got off the phone with 2 different radioshacks and they both said they just got a "web mail" that said they would have the preordered phones tomorrow from FedEx. They also said only preorders are going to be available pending the official launch.

I spoke to someone at the RS I preordered at. He said that he was looking at the "packing slip" for the Evo 4G LTE delivery. Everyone knows that packing slips accompany product, I hope to be receiving a call first thing tomorrow to pick it up

I made the manager at the Radio Shack i went to tell me that IF it came in today he would sell to me today. Mainly because Best Buy is. Throw your weight around man!

Trust me, I plan on doing that Saturday morning. If there are other people getting their RS preorders fulfilled and they tell me to wait until the national launch, I'm going to have them call the district manager to refund my $50 gift card. If losing my business isn't enough weight, I don't know what is.

A small update, radioshack may shipping today.

I was told by Account services that they have a contract stating that fed ex shipping is NOT an option. i have a phone that does not work and trying to get it exchanged. not happening utnil mid to late next week. So if shipments dont hit stores today, it will be Tuesday at the earliest????????
