Question Random ads from a locked stylus

I have a moto stylus 5G 2024. Every day around noon my time I get a chime.
I pulled down the shield & it's an ad for a credit card? Or a Game. So I hit Dismiss.

I looked in the notification history and, it says from "Mobile Services"
Went to APP Info on Mobile Services. I'm trying to find a way to opt out
or shut it off? but, there's appx: 12 On/Off buttons. - Another user told me shutting the wrong
one off can disable your in-coming text messages? Has anyone else delt with this issue?

I'm certain the area is Mobile Services, under Notifications. grateful for any help..

Hopefully it'll be fine. I just hate these useless moneygrubbing apps that carriers load onto their phones.

Will keep you posted, I have someone I know with the same phone. I only use phone calls & text messiang
ex: when I log into a bank - It will ask (2 step security) will send a txt to your phone. A 6 digit number & I post it on my laptop. I seldom use the internet on a phone. Thats why I'm on a Dell Laptop, Inspiron 15-3000 right now. Sorry but my fingers are to big & my eyes are not in great shape at 74 years old. but, so far the app is off. and, the phone works. so does the txt messages .... anything comes up ? will post it here. Hmm -- are you saying that the texts from other people didn't show up in your Messages app, or that you didn't get the notification for the incoming text? Keep in mind as well that if the Messages app is open to a particular message thread, any incoming message to that thread typically won't trigger a notification (the idea being that the user would already be aware of that incoming message).

two txt's from someone else (2 seperate people) didn't come thru. When I cleared out the "Notification History" I read them in there. Nothing in the txt message icon? (I notified people that are not skilled in the txt. area to call - if I don't reply to a text.) It was a surprise to me, so If another user has the: moto G Stylus 5G 2024 manybe they will try the disable & post there results on the forum.
