Random photos transferring to pc multiple times

How can I stop stock pictures and random photos from transferring to my pc? I only want to transfer new photos that I have taken.
Is there any way I can delete the stock pictures from my phone?
Why have the photos started to transfer multiple times to my pc?

Welcome to Android Central! Are you using the "Import Photos and Videos" option in Windows? If so, don't--it tends to import every single image, including thumbnails and app-related photos. I think it's best to manually select the photos using Windows Explorer and drag & drop them to the computer.

Windows doesn't have any recognition software built in to their Import Photos utility. If you have Adobe Lightroom or similar, that functionality would work as described. But not with Windows. As B.Diddy said, best to turn the option off and manually select what you'd like. Even better option, is use Dropbox, or Google Drive and just upload what you want directly to a shared drive on your PC. Don't bother with plugging it in.
