Random reboots on Verizon LG G2

Over the last few days, I have experienced several random shut downs/reboots. I have basically resigned myself to doing a factory data reset as the battery drain after the Kit Kat update has been pretty annoying but I thought I'd check to see if anyone had any thoughts about this specific issue. Thanks!

Take the gmail widget off the home screen.

I know it sucks. I know it's painful to set it all back up again, but after a major update, you have to do an FDR.

Have you done some virus scan or clear cache lately?

Thanks for the ideas. I ended up doing the FDR and have not experienced any more of the random reboots.
