Random winding up noise on Samsung Galaxy s9

[Android Central Question]

From time to time my Samsung Galaxy s9 makes a winding up noise like it's going to blow up. Lasts a second or two only. Does it when charging and when not charging. My s8 did the same thing.
I do run resource heavy apps on my phone all the time if that makes any difference.

Is it coming from the speaker? If it happens on two phones then maybe it's an app?

Look for issues in Device Maintenance.

By default "Unstoppable apps" is on

When it happens, peek at Recent apps to see what is listed.
