Randomly returning to lock screen - anyone else?

My Pixel 2 XL has been randomly dropping out to the lock screen once or twice daily.

By that I mean, for example, I am browsing a website in Chrome when suddenly the screen goes black and a moment later I am at the lock screen.

Or, I have Endomondo open while at the gym when suddenly...

Or, I am reading an email in the GMail app when suddenly...

You get the idea.

Anyone else seeing this on Android P? If not, maybe I've got something else going on.

Whether anyone else sees it or not, report it. That's the purpose of a beta. If they get one report, or 1,000 reports, they're not going to get annoyed with "oh, him too?" They will get annoyed releasing P, only to start getting complaints that the 2XL (or all phones or some phones) have that problem.

But that's the whole idea of a beta - you should have the reporting address memorized by now.
