rare camera is not working. help

[AC Question]

so i got this local phone with an OS of marshmallow, but not the latest version of it. and i checked my camera to took a picture from our class and suddenly, it says "unfortunately, camera has stopped" so i didnt do anything yet. then i rebooted my phone then my camera is set to the front cam and there is no switch for the rare camera.

yea its new but its been 6 months i guess? and i think its because i dropped it or something? im not sure tho

Welcome as a new member.

Just try Safe Mode first to test whether a third-party app is causing trouble. Otherwise, there may indeed be physical damage.

i think ill just deal with this. my front cam is working just fine. its like the abilities of rear cam were transfered to the front cam.

Are you sure? If the trouble is caused by a third-party app, it would be a simple matter to fix.
