I know this thread is old as well, but I also disabled motocast and it seems my phone is running well. I was having g problems with 4G and literally after disabling motocast and restarting my phone 4G was there like it was supposed to. I'll keep you posted if this fix keeps working.

Still have 4G this morning. Phone hasn't been sluggish ether.

I concur. Unless Motocast is essential to you, definitely disable it.
