Ok so mine is fine and connected as it should be. Husband's "was" fine but now it has asked him to verify twice and each time it sticks at setting up number and you can push verify and just again never "verifies". This just started happening a few days ago. Any suggestions? Also tried this but it didn't change anything.

Have you tried clearing the Messages app's cache? Also turn RCS off, reboot, and turn RCS back on? When this bug used to plague some users they also said that uninstalling updates to Messages helped (and updating again after RCS was verified).

Did the cache and restarted but not the uninstalling updates. Ill try that

Yep, still won't work. I am at a total loss now.

Try this , go to settings>connections>mobile network>APN tap>upper right corner tap and reset to default
