Best way to resize photos before messageing or emailing? I don't see a way to do this, on here.

My data was being totally eaten.
And you can't turn off mobil to texted an images.. need it on... just usingwi-fi, doesn't work.

Just realized it's sending hugh images. It's take up all my data 😟

Thanks

The browser?? Haven't tired but I prefer one that is a photo app..

My other phone gave me choices to send images and I could pick the size. This one, I have to use all my data in half a month to learn how hugh the images are 😅

Nice to have but big to send

Once you have the pic go to edit it. Once in that screen click on the top right three dots. Reize there. I use it a lot once I knew about it.

In addition to resizing prior to sending, you can manage your data usage and warning through Settings-Connections-Data Usage.

I have that set up...that is how I saw it's taking all my data.
When it's set up, can it stop it using data?

My old phone, never went anywhere near close to using all this data
omg

Yes. Same settings panel as the Data Warning. Select the Set Data Limit option.

Sorry to be so stupid, but I find no way to resize a photo in Gallery or Google Photos. What app are you using?
Find your image. Touch the pencil, once the edit screen is up locate the three dots at the top right. The drop down will have the option to resize. See my pics above, or get one of your kids to help.

As long as we are on this subject, is there a way to set the resolution to a lesser value? In the previous releases there was a camera setting that allowed you to reduce resolution easily. I haven't been able to find it on the current release. thanks.
