Real Life Battery life

This thread is pretty long. I have not rad everything said but I have only had my phone for two days. You need to let's android optimize the apps. That takes several days. If this works like my s7 I will start getting notified that android has made decisions about how I use my apps and starts putting them to sleep for non usage. Until that happens saying anything about battery life on this phone is meaningless.

Here is another pointer on battery life. On T-Mobile I have always noticed that on a new phone their app is a heavy user of battery. I always go in and disable all its automated functions. At least I do that when I go into battery usage and remember what a battery hog it is. It takes time to figure all this stuff out when you start messing with a new phone.

This screen shot is not a good example. Battery usage was much higher a while back before I disabled all its functions.
