Real Time Calendar Syncing

Galaxy S21+ 5G (SM-G996U) and Galaxy S10+ (SM-G975U1). Both up to date.

I am hoping to find a way to sync in real time. Enter a calendar event on one phone and see it on the other phone in a short amount of time. Regardless of the distance between phones. Either Samsung Calendar or Google or other you'd strongly suggest.

Is this possible, if yes could you please point me to the instructions or hold my hand in this forum.

Welcome to Android Central! What you ask for happens easily on Google Calendar for me. Have you tried it? Be aware that if your phone has any kind of battery-saving mode or "memory booster" app installed, this may interfere with syncing.

Google calendar with all devices signed in with the same Google account.

Can do the same with an Outlook account.

Both can be done with a free account.

I have never used Google Calendar. This would be only for my wife's phone and mine. I am going through some medical issues and want to assure our independent calendar entries are seen by each other in real time.

Glad you got it working! Do you and your wife share the same Google account, or do you have different accounts? It's always advisable for each person to have their own account, since sharing an account can sometimes lead to confusion. If you do have separate accounts, you can easily share a calendar so that the other person can see it: https://support.google.com/calendar/answer/37082?hl=en&co=GENIE.Platform=Android&oco=1
