Realme 5pro Dual whatsapp account can't sync with my contacts

I am having trouble getting my dual (second) whatsapp account to sync with my contacts. It just displays the numbers instead of names. I have all the permissions checked and have removed the account and set it up fresh again but still no joy. Anyone else having the same issue?

I don't know about Realme but in Samsung devices you need to disable 'Separate Contacts' or something similar in the Dual Messenger settings.I remember reading about this a while ago, I'll try to find it.

Sorry, I have no experience with ColorOS and didn't find any report of this problem for Realme devices.

For some people using OnePlus devices the problem stopped after starting a new chat, which kind of forced the sync process for the contacts. Also, make sure that all the options are selected in your Contacts app settings.
