Reason for Buying S20

There's only one reason I'll buy the new S20 and that's if it's got better battery life. With 5G, higher screen refresh rate, bigger screen I hope the battery life can hold it together.
I don't think Samsung is too bothered with battery life. I feel they go for short term glory. I Heard good things about the iPhone 12 Pro max battery life. If the s20 can't match the battery life that's a fail. Will not trust specs to live up to expectations. My S10+ battery life was a let down after a few month.

Am guessing most people will be getting one for the Camera?

Only reason I'm considering getting the S20 is that 120hz refresh rate. 90hz on the One Plus 7 Pro and especially the Pixel 4 was addicting. Especially the latter, as for some reason animations and transitions were so much nicer on the Pixel.

Because I regret trading in my S10+ for the Pixel 3axl. I miss the overall build over the plastic Pixel. The Pixel has a great camera, but lacks the storage and ram I need. 64 GB just doesn't cut anymore... unless it's a iPhone than it's ok...lol..

Please go get an eye exam. There's no reason FHD should look blurry to anyone on a phone screen. QHD is overkill and just eats your battery.

Camera is what interests me most despite the fact I know it won't replace my Nikons and collection of lenses it would be nice to have a better camera on me 24/7.

After using my mom's iPhone X to take a couple pictures of my kids, I am reminded how crummy the Samsung's are with any motion indoors. Hoping Samsung's new camera will finally fix this. Haven't had the Note 10 for very long though, so likely won't be ready to upgrade for the S20 (plus, I like the pen). But it'll be a good sign for the Note if the S series improves on this.

Yes. I just hope the software processing has improved, or it'll just be a ton more megapixels and it still won't compete with the Pixel 4. That's why I'm going to order. And take some by side shots before trading the Pixel in.

I have the Pixel 3axl and I wonder how that compares with the Pixel 4? If the Ultra is way out of line price wise I might get the +model. I got the S10+ last year and I was satisfied with the camera on that.

I'm on a pixel 3 right now and while the camera is great my wife recently got an iPhone 11 pro and the versatility of the camera with the telephoto and wide angle lenses has me looking at the S20 because of things like kid's sporting events and stuff. I really want more versatility and the pixel just doesn't offer that. However if the screen isn't flat or close to it I'm likely going a different direction.

I was tempted by the S20 Ultra because of the cameras mostly, but it went out the window when the rumours poppod up of a Fold Note in Q2

The screen is supposed to be less curved than the s10, but I'm sure it won't be flat. The s10e had a flat scene, and I don't believe that made much impact on the sales. Which is why the smallest s20 is 6.3 inches this time around.

I’m burned out with my iPhone and I’ve held off on getting my new Android phone until Samsung reviews come in, its been rough waiting but I promised my wife I wouldn’t swap phones as often. So I’m being a good husband. Lol
