I just gave my neices my Kindle Fire so until I get the Nexus 7, all I have tablet wise is my Galaxy Note, lol

Sold My Iconia tab last month, then the Nexus 7 comes out, was missing having a Tablet but I thought the Acer Iconia was just a little to big to be an everyday portable, now I can't wait till my Nexus 7 shows up at Staples.

I did the same thing except an ipad2. I want to try something a little smaller and want to get a hold of JB and get to mess around with all the features. It will hold me over until my sgs3 gets JB=)

Yeah, as much as i loved having a tablet...apple products just aren't for me, you have to hack them for them to be decent and even then the ipad is wayyy too bulky IMO. [im a windows phone guy..had an android phone and didn't like it but this updated OS looks a lotttttttt better]. Gonna be glad to get a 7".

My favorite part is that i got my original ipad for $300 brand new when the ipad 2 was announced off craigslist like a year and 4 months ago. When i traded it in the other day, cause of the gamestop bonus, i got $233 towards my nexus 7. i ended up paying like $18.50 after tax for a 16 gig N7. SO hyped about that.

i'll give that one to apple, their products hold their value VERY well. but glad i can finally give apple a rest and move on to this

Phooey! My wallet still only acknowledges my order, even though I ordered it the first day pre-orders were taken, I think. (Order Date: June 28, 2012 12:16:52 PM UTC-7.) I do see "Alice's Adventures In Wonderland" in My Books, but nothing else. I'm going to be angry if people who order from Staples before tomorrow (the 10th) get their tablet on the 12th while I'm still waiting for mine! Grrr. No wonder they aren't letting people cancel their orders.

The reason I want it pretty quick is because I let my parents borrow my Toshiba Thrive after I ruined their poorly-constructed Vizio tablet in an effort to pop it open and fix/replace the flimsy micro-usb charging port(it would no longer register the charging cord was inserted). (Shhh, don't tell them I broke it.)

I took it home so I could replace THEIR screen with mine from my poorly-contructed Vizio tablet that I took apart in an effort to fix the earphone port after Vizio told me they had no way to fix any of their tablets themselves. Am I off topic?

Anyway, I would simply give my Thrive to my parents if it didn't have a cracked screen, which occured from simply picking the heavy thing up by the corner, to which Toshiba replied they would give me an RMA number, but not guarantee it would be covered by the warranty. (I've since learned that cracking screens is a common issue with the Thrives and I am no longer a Toshiba fan for their lack of fessing up to this design flaw. Am I off topic?

Anyway, I am hoping this will finally be a quality android product because I am tired of buying junk from everyone else. Sorry this sounds like a rant. I just started taking my ADD medication again after a long break and I guess it makes me a little "ranty" or "rantiforous" or "something".:'( It's also my first post. Cheers!

I sold my Blackberry Playbook recently to get this badboy...call me crazy but I loved everything about the playbook except for the lack of unique funcitonality (was great for the internet and email but nothing else). Really pumped to get the Nexus 7 for Now and Magazines. Already bought a few issues in anticipation
