I just picked up a Epic 4G on Sprint and in order to keep it receiving comcast email and gas buddy working I have to reboot it every day..... is this normal or am I missing something.... the phone is all stock no rooting.... when I try to use gas buddy it will error out and say cant connect to server and email stops coming in to the phone,,,,, thats when I know it needs rebooting...... Daily seems a bit excessive......
Thanks

That's def not normal. I can't offer advice but I'm sure someone on here can. Many helpful people here.

First I would check your incoming/outgoing e-mail settings with your e-mail provider to ensure that you have everything incorrect.

Gas buddy could be a setting, or maybe just remove/re-install the app. Although please keep in mind that an apps stability is up to the developer to ensure and isn't an indicator of your device being defective.

I've had the same problem. Rebooting "fixes" it, so I am not sure how it could be the settings. Is there something I am overlooking?

Moved to different post.

Sent from my Epic 4G using Tapatalk.

While not quite the same issue, I did have similar things happen with a couple of apps that required GPS when I first got my phone. The apps wouldn't load and I'd have to reboot the phone to take care of the issue. Since the last update I haven't noticed it happening, although I have pretty much stopped using those apps.
