Reboots during alarm? Fix?

This is literally my only problem/complaint with my Gnex. I have an alarm set every morning, same time. Phone is plugged in on wifi. Haven't added any apps recently that I can think of. Maybe 1 out of 10 times the alarm goes off, the phone just reboots. Even slept through it the other day. Anyone found a fix?

Same thing happened to me! Ended up a half hour late to class on Monday.

It's only happened to me once and I had blamed it on a previous ROM/Kernal combo I was on.

Are you stock?

Check out Alarm Clock Xtreme on the market, it has a ton of customization options like increasing alarm vibration and sound and stuff like that. I used it on my DX all the time but haven't got around to setting up on my GN.

I have my alarm set at 730am mon through wed and afaik it has never once rebooted on me during the alarm.

Are you using a stock sound on the alarm or are you using one you downloaded?

Yea, stock/locked bootloader. I wanted to give ICS a shot before i ROM'd and this was my only complaint. Ill give that clock a shot. Might be volume+ too.

Stock sound, BUT ran through MP3gain on my PC to 100db, changed into mp3, and placed in the alarm folder on the SSD. Maybe i'll try a regular unaltered one if i can find one loud enough.

Yeah, I havent used anything but stock tones with my alarm, but I dont see how that could be a problem as i used downloaded ones for everything else. Meh.

I use mine every work day and no reboots thus far. I would say that its your MP3gain program causing the problems.

I'm %100 stock with and unlocked bootloader.

My Nexus has never rebooted INSTEAD of sounding the alarm. But, several times, mine has rebooted after dismissing the alarm. Only seems to happen when it's plugged in... the alarm gets silenced... then I unplug the phone to take it downstairs with me. It will occasionally reboot. More often, though, it will take me to some random browser page, which I can't use the back button to get out of. Pressing the home button takes me back home, but the home screen will always take a second or two to populate with icons and widgets. Hoping 4.0.3 helps.
