Received a minor update today. What that might be?

I'm on an international version of LG G2 and today, when checking for updates, found an update with size ~22 MB. I was surprised because there was a kitkat logo showing up during the upgrade process but definitely it wasn't the kitkat rom as I'm still on JellyBean. Does anyone know the change log of that update?. All it said is that it updates Apps!

Probably just a minor update to update some built in apps.

Sent from my rooted, Xposed D803 on Dorimanx Kernel.

I got the update today as well but not updated yet. This is what i got and it's a bit larger than 22MB.
It may be just to kitkat-ify some of the LG and Google apps

The only difference i've noticed is that the font in google play looks slightly different somehow. Maybe my imagination.
Other than that, nothing

Separately, Google Play Services had an update too that's been pushing out this week.

There's 2 things i've noticed that's different to before the update:

1) The cloud services now allow box as well as dropbox, so now we can all use our free 50GB!
2) The quick note app allows different modes such as frosted glass, transparent, plain opague, coloured opaque. Beforehand it only allowed transparent and opaque

I noticed something that has nothing to do with the actual updated programs/features. The update itself carried the KitKtat logo when it was installing after re-booting my phone & I'm still surprised what this update has to do with the actual KitKat ROM!

Wasn't that small update the one for spark LTE?

Another observation.
The "gsm only" option has been removed after the update. I used to keep it on "gsm only" for when i'm at home using wifi, because when i'm not using it it goes to sleep and switches to 2G (the most efficient for battery)

Does anyone know how to get the option back again using the hidden menu option (ie 3834#*802#)?
