Recently my phone will randomly pull up an app in the app store.

It does it randomly, when I'm listening to YouTube or a lot of times when I'm opening my phone. It doesn't matter, it's just random. Its always the same app, although I can't remember the name at the moment. I'm not sure if I did something to get a virus? Is that a sign of a virus?

I have a Galaxy S6 Edge.

Welcome to Android Central! It's probably adware associated with some app you installed. Uninstall apps one by one until the ads go away.
