Recommended Root Method after Jelly Bean OTA Update

I saw your post, but what does update the binaries mean? Also, I've seen talk of Wugs tool. Does that do the trick as well?

It means you update it within the app.

I don't think wugs has been updated yet considering the ota just came out.

It's really easy. Flash the one that has 3.1.3 in it. Or something like that.

You recommend the 3.1.3 file over the JB-SuperSU file? Does it matter which method I used to root previously (on ICS)?

I do because it's newer, but no. Probably not.

Root is just a binary. That's all.

Thanks so much for the help. Now I just have to remember how to get a custom recovery again. It looks like I lost mine based on the android with the red triangle when I try to boot into recovery.

Fastboot it. Check the ota thread. I tell you how in there.

Also read my Don't Panic guide.
