Recover unedited photo on Samsung Gallery

I have a Samsung Galaxy S6. Today I cropped a photo in my gallery using Samsung Gallery and it overwrote the original. Is it possible to recover the original unzipped photo? Before the last update it saved both the original and the edited version.

Welcome to Android Central! If you select that photo in the Gallery app and tap the Menu button, is there an option to undo previous edits?
