Even though TWRP 2.0 is out and everything, I still say this is the best hands down. Just wanted to give this thread a quick bump in hopes if someone isn't using it...they will start.

I actually went back to this recovery. After twrp 2.0 screen kept going black and having to reboot to get it up again, I just gave up with it. Went back with just works for me.

Alright i could really use some help please. Im new to roms and dont really know what im doing. Everytime i try to reboot i get stuck on the boot screen "HTC EVO 4G". Can someone tell me what im doing wrong please?

Flashing your rom won't get much of a response in the recovery thread. Hopefully you have what you want backed up, exp would be a nandroid, games, and so forth. You need to wipe data, dalvik cache and cache. Once you do that flash your rom. Something you should remember since you are new is if you go from a Sense rom to an AOSP (like cm7) don't install any apps from Sense. This will cause a bootloop. Hope I answered your question.

Great and very useful.....was trying download a rom using both clockwork and ra...no dice....used amon-ra and flashed the first time....I for agree its the best of the 3..(my opinion only)

When it comes to recoveries Amon RA is the premier, consistent choice for any would be flashers out there! Just wish he'd broaden his phone array!
