Flash a recovery manually and delete the reboot-from-recovery.p file from the /system partition.

Trying to flash some radios (no roms) but cannot get into recovery via rom manager or power up with vol buttons, I cannot delete the recovery from boot because Root Explorer won't toggle to RW.....any suggestions?

Are you rooted? If you're not that would explain why Root Explorer and ROM Manager aren't working. You can boot to the bootloader anyway and fastboot boot a custom recovery, and use that to flash whatever radio's you are trying to, assuming they are in a flashable zip.

So it turns out I am NOT rooted (DOH!) I only care about having tethering, but regardless, I want to root the phone, but wugs doesn't recognize my to be in bootloader mode, and I also tried using the install superboot, but it just sits there saying "waiting for device" (I am using OEM cable, and drivers are installed) how would I fastboot boot a custom recovery? I am on JRO03O and just need updated radios.....

I am u nrooted and when I rebooted into stock recovery mode my androind guy is latin down with red teiangle I unrooted and it passed rebooted and eveeything went good but my androind guys is still layinf down and I also tried wiping data factory reset...is need some advice pleade what should I do...also when I was rooted and teied to flash a rom my phone wouldnt flash the roms I tried and I tried flashing a bunch...HELP!!!!! PLEAS THANK YOU ps I habe an at&t samsung galaxy s3

Are you using Odin? This thread is for the galaxy nexus. Make sure your not trying to flash a "toro" ROM. That would cause it

For whatever phone you have, you must have a custom recovery.

To remove red triangle go to messages, scroll to triangle ,then delete.
