Refurbed GS2s

Just curious - does anyone on AC own a refurbed T-mobile GSII? And if so what are your thoughts versus a new one?

Just curious as the T-mobile website is offering these for $30 at the moment and 2 coworkers are interested but wary about the 90 day company warranty (no mfr. warranty).

t mo refurb is usually as good as new. i dont have experience with the sg2 specifically, but from what i have had before, theyre generally in very good condition, hardly noticeable that they were returned or refurbished.

my refurbished GS2 just arrived yesterday, my first Android phone. Delivered from Tmo for $30
loving it so far and came w ics 4.0.3 / this i believe will be my daily driver and park my BB 9900 for a while

yea. Funny enough i just had to replace mine because the update screwed up some of my features. So tmo sent me a new one in hopes i could have a sg2 back on gingerbread. But it came with ics already installed. Bummer. But so far this one is working better than my original.

Glad you have a good working unit. Did it come with ics preinstalled?
