Regarding update issue error code 50

Hello i was using messenger fb app but i disabled it now again when i enabled it its asking to update but after completiin of update it is throwing error code 501 and this happens only with this app and yes i am using asus zenfone 2..i already tried clearing catche and all but no luck.

Welcome to Android Central! Which cache did you clear -- the app cache for FB Messenger? How about for Google Play Store and Download Manager? Or how about the system cache partition for the phone?

I remove cache of fb app and fb messanger app

I also removed cache of google play store and stop it and again start it

Did the Facebook Messenger app actually complete the update installation, or did it stop and give you that error message?

If you only cleared the app cache for FB Messenger and Facebook, I would also try the Clear Data option in the Settings>Apps menu for those apps.

To wipe the system cache partition, follow these steps: https://www.asus.com/zentalk/thread-9229-1-1.html. It won't erase any personal data.
