Registration for "immersive Gear VR experience for $99" - How did it Go

I'm in the middle of the registration process (I think). I got a webpage during registration to "Buy" but the link I clicked never did anything. So now I'm unsure if the process actually completed and a payment email will come later - or did my registration not complete for this "buyable promo option".

I would like to collect others experience here to note when (& how) to verify its successful since there are limited quantities and you can't wait forever to get confirmations. I got an initial confirmation on the Gear VR/Oculus freebee - but nothing that confirms the Bundle for $99 during this process (yet).

My rub on this - look at the Check Gift Status page.

Why not checkoff the offer you qualified for and put in the status - Await your email to complete ordering and payment process.

Rather than leaving it ambiguous - now you have to worry the form didn't process correctly and bug Customer Service about it. I think Samsung customer support is clearly behind the times in keeping status up-to-date and accurate - Overall

Still no email for me from my registration yesterday at 2:15pm. I see on Verizon pre-order thread someone else had same issue that I had - webpage with BUY button did nothing.

Anxious to hear from other's experiences.

That is just the Gear VR with Controller - what about the $99 Gear VR bundle with headphones and SD card?

Is that what you wanted was just the "free Gear VR"?

BTW - what "app" are using on the phone to get that info? I don't get that screen on Shop Samsung App.

To compare with what other's have received so far - here's the email that came back to me when registering for the $99 offer. Notice there is no mention in this email about the $99 bundle or payment.

I already have a 250 sd card from samsung from my note 7 and the same earphones already in the box so i took the free vr and controller

When during the process did it ask you to pay? Did you receive a separate email (that you could post here as confirmation)?

I registered using the Samsung shipping app and immediately got an email saying my registration is approved with a link to purchase the add on.
