No regrets for me. I kept my note 20U for a week when I got the fold3, didn't pick it up once till I sold it and haven't missed it since then. The fold3 ticks all my boxes except for built in pen support.

The only thing I miss, hopefully there are a team of engineers working on that

The only regret I have is now that I have the fold ³, is when I use any other phone except my fold ³, I find myself limited because of their screen size. I got really used to that big 6.7" inner screen when browsing, watching YouTube and or doing actual work functions like RDS into servers or excel spreadsheets, ect... lol

I like the fold a lot except for lack of expandable storage and how small it feels when folded and your talking on it. I use it as my work phone, and kept my Note 20 as my personal. Definitely love my Note 20 couldn't get rid of it.

How much thicker is the Z Fold 3 when it's folded compared to the S21 Ultra? I'm thinking of trying it out and I'm wondering if someone on here has both. It does sound like it's not pocketable in jeans?

It's almost twice as thick, but, I pocket this thing in my Jeans, Shorts, Sweat Pants, Jackets, everything and have no issues.

Well, ok, SLIGHT issue, when I am wearing my jeans and have it in my pocket, it's hard to sit with it in the pocket (front pocket, NEVER back), so I find I pull it out and hold it.

Overall, not really too bad. I got used to it in a matter of a couple days.

I use a vertical holster with belt clip with carabiner clip to add extra carrying protection to carry mine around.

I've never been a fan of carrying round my phones in my pockets due to dust etc that collates in pockets.

For me fold 3 is more comfortable than my note20 ultra probably because it is narrower. Thickness not so much impact.

Does it fit easily in jeans pocket? The Ultra is wider and there are times it's uncomfortable to sit with it in my front jeans pocket.

It all depends on how tight your jeans are! No doubt these are big phones though. I came from the S20 Ultra and I don't notice much net difference since the Ultra is wider, but less thick. But to answer your question directly, the phone easily fits in my jeans pocket although I usually take it out when I sit down (like I did with the Ultra). Your mileage may vary.........

Sounds like similar experience on the Ultra with me. I also take it out when I'm seated since I wear skinny jeans and it's uncomfortable.

I might as well try it and see if I like it. Put an order for a silver and it’s not expected to ship til Dec. 7…yikes!

Honestly, it was about the same with me and my N20U. I had to take it out of my pocket if I was wearing certain pairs of jeans.

For the most part, I paid really close attention yesterday as I was out and about all day and I noticed that most of the day, even in the car, I kept it in my pocket more than I thought I did. I only took it out a couple times to top off the battery since I was toiling away at a couple games while waiting.

Dec 7... Wow... however, that isn't a shock with the shortages and supply chain issues. My brother owns a business and I help with it now and again and we have a job coming up installing wifi gear and we're still VERY short on the gear, and we ordered it over 6 months ago!

I like the idea of a narrower phone which might help in the jeans pocket situation. The thickness might offset that benefit though.

It's a bummer it will take that long to ship because I'm going on a trip the first week of December.

I remember a blind photos comparisons on yt between s21u, ipmax12, fold3. Fold 3 came out on top. Only thing you are losing is the 10x optical zoom. But you gain taking selfie with the 3 rear cameras.

If you need GREAT pictures, and I mean Pro-Level, use a DSLR that is made for that purpose. A phone will NEVER come close.

Otherwise, understand that your phone camera is GREAT, but not PRO and you will be less picky.

The date now moved to after Dec. 3. I'm really excited to try out the Fold 3 and see how I like it. The camera is more for me to carry around on my hikes and a DSLR is a bit cumbersome for that. I also do very intense hikes so it's not good to be lugging around a DSLR.
